CATHERINE
OLDFIELD
CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Catherine co-founded Tall Story Pictures in 2016.  She is Executive Producer of Daragh Carville’s The Bay, Sticks & Stones and Trauma both by Mike Bartlett and Season 2 of Kate Brooke’s Bancroft.

Catherine joined ITV Studios Drama in 2011 where her credits include 2 series of Simon Block’s Home Fires; Guy Burt’s lavish serial Tutankhamun.

Prior to this, Catherine has held posts at Monkey Kingdom where she was Head of Drama and Scripted Comedy; she was Development Producer at Greenlit working on 4 series of Anthony Horowitz’s Foyle’s War, Collision written by Anthony and Michael A Walker, James Graham’s Caught in A Trap, Vexed by Howard Overman and Honest written by Jack and Harry Williams.

A previous role as Head of Development at Sally Head Productions saw Catherine working on Peter Ransley’s The Cry and the Bafta-nominated adaptation of Sarah Waters’ Fingersmith for BBC 1

PATRICK
SCHWEITZER
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Patrick joined Tall Story in September 2018 as Executive Producer. As well working on new and existing development projects, Patrick is Executive Producer on the second season of Bancroft alongside Catherine and writer/creator Kate Brooke.

Patrick has a wealth of production experience most recently as producer of the hugely acclaimed Save Me written and created by Lennie James.  Before this he produced numerous shows including SSGB written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, Ben Court and Caroline Ip’s Whitechapel, The Interceptor written and created by Tony Saint and Doctor Who.

Starting out as a much sought after location manager before becoming a line producer, Patrick's credits range from Ashes to Ashes, The Hour and Call The Midwife to the feature film Les Miserables.

SAMANTHA
McMILLON
COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

Samantha joined Tall Story as Commercial Director in March 2018.  Prior to this, Sam was VP Scripted Global Content for ITVS's distribution arm Global Entertainment. Sam led GE's efforts in establishing a Nordic slate, which delivered the international hit Jordskott, and also brought numerous high profile UK hit dramas to global audiences including Mr Selfridge, Poldark and Victoria.

Prior to her role in the Content team, Sam sold finished programmes and formats to international broadcasters across Europe for nearly ten years.

BICKNELL
DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER

Sophie joined Tall Story Pictures in 2017 as a Development Producer. She is the script executive on Daragh Carville's The Bay alongside running a diverse slate of development projects.

Prior to this, she was a Development Executive at Hat Trick Productions, tasked with seeking out exciting new writing talent as well as working with more established writers. As a script editor at ITV Studios, her credits include two series of RTS award-winning series Home Fires, written by Simon Block. 

Previously, Sophie worked in production on Pete Bowker's From There To Here  and the final series of Anthony Horowitz' Foyle's War. She started her TV career at Kudos, where she mentored new writers as part of the Red Planet Prize.

SENIOR SCRIPT EDITOR

Kat is Script Editor on Series 2 of Kate Brooke’s Bancroft. Alongside this she is developing a range of projects with exciting established and emerging writers.

Before joining Tall Story Pictures, Kathryn was a Script Editor at BBC Studios, working on series 5 of Neil Cross’ crime drama Luther. Prior to this, she was Assistant Script Editor on Silent Witness and Nicole Taylor’s award winning drama Three Girls, among others.

Kat started her career on CBBC dramas, such as Debbie Moon’s Wolfblood and The Dumping Ground before gaining a place on the BBC Production Trainee scheme, where she worked on a range of programmes, such as Script Researcher for the RTS Award-winning series, Our World War written by Joe Barton.

HAYLEY
CAMERON
SCRIPT EDITOR

Hayley joined Tall Story Pictures in 2018 as a Trainee Script Editor on The Bay. She is also developing several other projects on the slate.

After graduating from University College London with a degree in French and Italian, Hayley started her career in television as a runner on productions such as Luther and Capital. She worked on Holby City for two years as a Story Assistant and a Script Researcher whilst also script reading for several independent production companies.

Before Tall Story Pictures, Hayley was the Development Assistant at Hillbilly Films and Television where she worked on projects across the slate.

CHARLOTTE
JONES
DEVELOPMENT EDITOR

Charlotte has worked at Tall Story Pictures since the beginning, having worked with Catherine at ITV Studios for 5 years.  As well as co-ordinating the Tall Story slate, and working on specific projects, her primary focus is on identifying new writing talent. 

Charlotte has worked in television for 15 years - previously having roles at Channel 5 and ITV Studios Entertainment.
